Our commitment

We believe everyone who works on our sites should go home safe. Our occupational health and safety management system is certified to ISO 45001:2018 for general construction and finishing, sewage treatment and desalination plants, infrastructure and factories, electromechanical works, and maintenance and operation services.

On every site

• A site induction for everyone before they start work
• A risk assessment and method statement for each activity
• Personal protective equipment suited to the work
• Permits to work for hot work, confined spaces and work at height, and compliance with each client’s permit system in operating plants
• Short toolbox talks and regular site inspections
• Reporting and investigation of incidents and near misses

Quality

• Inspection and test plans agreed with the client or consultant
• Materials and samples approved before ordering
• Hold-point inspections for reinforcement, concrete, waterproofing and testing
• Snag lists closed before handover, with a complete handover file

The environment and our neighbours

• Waste sorted and removed regularly
• Dust and noise controlled, with working hours agreed with neighbours and landlords
• Careful use of water and materials
